Hillary's plans

In Mrs. Clinton's speech on Saturday he stated I suspend my campaign. If Hillary actually wanted to support Obama, why did she not say that she would end the campaign instead of suspending? this leads me to think that the Clinton may still attempt to make a end run around Obama before the election.

Well, since she suspended(?) her Campaign she still has all her delegates & superdelegates. Also, with Obama's new speech impediment, he's making himself look like Bush in that respect, he might seem less appealing for the remaining superdelegates.

Yeah, but the superdelegates will just support Obama to "unite the party".

There's not much a a difference. A lot of the candidates just say "suspend". Like Huckabee.

Yeah, I think Romney did the same thing.

Another reason why they do it is that in case for some reason they wanted to start their campaign up again, they can continue to accept donations.

Iirc, If they suspend their campaign, as opposed to ending it, they are reimbursed by the government for the funds which they spent on the campaign, if they see the election through until the end.

She's doing it for the money and to attempt to hold on to the superdelegates she currently has, to use as a bargaining chip in the selection of Obama's VP.

That's a good point, Izno. If for some reason Obama could no longer run, she could easily restart her campaign.
