The creation of this blog and McCain's VP
This blog was partly inspired by the political debates I have seen among Wikipedia editors, and also the small debate that took place on my talk page a few days ago on who McCain's vice presidential choice will be. Now I am asking readers: who do you think McCain's choice will be, and who is your favorite?

I'm not prepared to say who will be McCain's choice, but defintely my favourite is Huckabee.
I think McCain will choose Romney, on account of wanting to reach out to the more conservative people.
Romney is not conservative enough and definitely less than Huckabee...
Anyway if McCain will choose Romney, I will vote for Obama... (joke, I am not an American citizen)
Romney is conservative enough for most people. I think Huckabee is viewed less favorable because he stayed in the race so long.
My favorite is Huckabee, but I think that he will choose Crist. Romney is not much of a real conservative - he's changed his stance on just about everything.
I don't think that McCain will choose Romney and I agree with Diligent Terrier on the fact that Crist is a likely choice. In any case I wouldn't understand that choice: McCain needs a running-mate who is a different sort of conservative than he is and Crist is a centrist-conservative too.
I think that McCain would make a better choice with Huckabee, Pawlenty, Jindal or Sanford.
Well, just because he's said he's considering those does not necessarily mean that his choices are limited to those. I'd like to see him pick Thompson or Hunter.
I'm friends with Crist's sister-in-law and her family (the kids) so I'll say Crist. :-)

Oo- Thompson! I like that! I was going to vote for him before he dropped out. Has anyone considered Kay Bailey Hutchison? A conservative Republican from a conservative republican state, and she's a woman! That should certainly take away some moderate and liberal votes if we do see Hillary as the Dem's VP.
